Ekadasa Rudra Omam – A Three-Day Divine Journey

June 20–22, 2025 – Butterworth

With the immense grace of Lord Shiva, the Ekadasa Rudra Omam was conducted in a grand and spiritually uplifting manner over three sacred days from 20th to 22nd June 2025. Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness and participate in the powerful rituals, poojas, and spiritual ceremonies, each day radiating divine energy and sacred vibrations.

Day 1 – 20th June (Friday)
Morning Session

The first day began with divine rituals including Ganapathi Vaibhavam, Vigneswarar Poojai, Punyahavachanam, Sankalpam, Kalasa Alangaram, and Homams. The rituals concluded with Kalasa Abhishegam and Maha Deeparadhanai, followed by Anadhanam for all devotees.

Evening Session

In the evening, the Utsavar deities were taken on a sacred procession to the Yagasalai with accompanying Vinayagar Poojai, Sivan Poojai, and Ambal Poojai. This was followed by Visesha Deeparadhanai, Kalasa Sthapanam, and Mandagappadi, enriching the spiritual ambiance of the temple. Anadhanam was served to all attending devotees.

 
Day 2 – 21st June (Saturday)
Morning Session

Day 2 continued the divine momentum with Vinayagar Vaibhavam, Vigneswarar Poojai, Punyahavachanam, Sankalpam, Kalasa Alangaram, and Homams, followed by Kalasa Abhishegam and Maha Deeparadhanai. Devotees received blessings through Anadhanam after the rituals.

Evening Session

The evening featured a grand Utsavar procession, followed by Visesha Abhishegam, Special Alangaram, Deeparadhanai, and Mandagappadi. The highlight of the evening was the arrival of His Holiness Maha Sanithanam Dharmapura Adheenam, who graced the event at 7.30 PM. The evening concluded with the launch of the Thiruvasagam book, a moving Thiruvasagam recital, and an inspiring speech by His Holiness. Anadhanam was offered to all.

 

Day 3 – 22nd June (Sunday) – Final Rituals

The final day began at 5.00 AM with the divine Rajagopuram Adikaal Vaibhavam, led by His Holiness Maha Sanithanam Dharmapura Adheenam. The concluding rituals included Vinayagar Vaibhavam, Vigneswarar Poojai, Punyahavachanam, Sankalpam, Kalasa Alangaram, and Homams. The ceremonies culminated in a powerful Maha Abhishegam for all deities, followed by Special Alangaram and Visesha Deeparadhanai.

As a final offering to devotees, Maha Prasadam, Bana Lingam, and Rudraksha Malai were distributed to all registered participants. The event concluded with Anadhanam, shared as an expression of gratitude and devotion.
